When it’s time for a change in our space; whether it be a new paint color, piece of furniture, or a complete design makeover, we always find it helpful to look for inspiration online.  The idea of stripping a room down to its bare bones and starting over from scratch can be scary.  Much like the trepidation an artist might feel when staring at a blank canvas.  That overwhelming question of where to begin can almost make you regret the decision to start a makeover in the first place.

But you have help, there is hope.  We get most of our inspiration and plans from searching the web.  My husband and I will spend weeks looking at websites deciding what colors we are drawn to most, what style furniture we both agree on and what pieces we can and can’t live without.  It’s a process and the plans change several times over the course of designing, but in the end the design is perfect.  And it’s all thanks to the help we got from design websites like the ones below.  Check them out and see where they lead you.
